Troubleshoot OCR and Word export
Check file quality, recognition requirements and the export destination.
The app will not open
Check that you are using supported 64-bit Windows and that the required .NET and Microsoft Edge WebView2 runtimes are installed. See download requirements.
The result contains wrong or missing words
Use a clearer, upright source image and the correct recognition language. Review scan-quality tips. Complex layouts may still need manual correction.
A picture or table needs correction
Compare the source and layout preview. Mark a missed picture region or rebuild a table area, then check cell contents and export Word again. Merged cells, unusual borders and crowded layouts may need additional editing.
Recognition is cancelling
Wait for the current page to reach its safe stopping point. Remaining work will stop; completed results from other documents remain available. Closing the app is not the same as saving those results.
Export cannot be written
Choose a writable destination, check available space and close a file that is already open in another application. Keep the original document while you troubleshoot.
A PDF is protected or unreadable
Use a valid, readable input file that you are authorized to convert. This app is not a password-removal or document-protection bypass tool.
