Free OCR to Word works without RK. In interactive setup, clicking Next on the welcome page downloads and opens the unchanged official Agree / Decline invitation before the application license. Opening the invitation does not accept participation. Skip the download or choose Decline in the official screen to continue installing the free app without RK. Silent setup never downloads or launches RK. A failed or unavailable invitation does not block the app installation.
RK is research software from TMRG, a Comscore company. It collects browsing and app activity in the background. We may be paid if you join.
If you accepted RK, manage or uninstall it separately in Windows Settings > Apps > RelevantKnowledge. Removing Free OCR to Word does not remove RK.
